Character: Miranda Ellis
- Age: 35
- Occupation: high school teacher
- Relation to the victim: Marcus’ teacher
- Possible motive: maybe she was worried about Marcus and wanted to talk to his parents. Maybe she discovered something about the family that Edwin didn’t want the public to know. Or maybe she blackmailed him because of this. Or maybe she was just trying to help Marcus, maybe he asked something from her
- Personality traits: generally quiet, but not introverted. She will speak up for what she believes in, and will fight for it too, for anything she believes its right and for the people she cares about. She likes helping people, she is overall very sweet and kind. Even when she gets angry, her heart will try to do what’s best for the weaker person, without undermining anyone.
- Mannerisms: always keeps her purse close, holding it tight with her arm. She also moves her hands and arms around a lot when talking.
- Physical appearance: average height, skinny. Always wears heels (but not too big ones), and she dresses very casual, but still fashionable outfits. Likes to keep her straight, light brown hair down, untied.
- Hobbies: she enjoys gardening, and going for a walk (ideally in a park)
- Suspicious behaviours:
- Health: infertile (thus why she always seeks maternal connections with her students)
- Speech: soft, melodic voice. Always tries to find the words that will please the highest amount of people
- Other relationships: none
Interview
Q: Are you a teacher here?
A: Yes
Q: Of what subject?
A: I teach Biology
Q: What’s your relationship with Edwin?
A: Oh, he is the parent of one of my students, Marcus.
Q: Do you usually see Edwin in meetings or similar?
A: Oh no, not at all. He never appears at those, he has missed all the parent reunions so far this year.
Q: Have you ever met him?
A: I may have seen him around the school at some point a while ago, I can’t really remember…
Q: Have you seen him today by any chance?
A: Oh! Now that you mention it, yes. I saw him at the cafe this morning while I was having breakfast. Such a weird coincidence…
Q: What was he doing?
A: Mmm he was having breakfast, I pressume. Some lady was also with him.
Q: At what time was this?
A: It was early in the morning, around 7 am I think.
Q: How long did he stay?
A: He didn’t stay long, half hour at most.
Q: Can you describe Marcos as a student?
A: He is… reserved. Smart, and hard working.
Q: How did he seem today?
A: He seemed fine. A little bit agitated. Maybe it had to do with his friend not showing up to class? I wouldn’t know.
Q: Oh, what friend?
A: That girl he always sits next to during my class, Kelly. They have been getting closer lately.
Q: Do you think they may be more than friends?
A: I wouldn’t know, you’d have to ask one of them directly.
Q: Do you know why did Kelly miss class?
A: Sorry, I have no idea about that.
