Puzzle 2
There are 5 offices whose doors are painted with five different colors. In each office works a person with a different career. Every office is in the same hallway. These five workers like a different type of food, have a different brand of car and keep a certain breed of dog. No workers have the same pet, like the same type of food, or have the same brand of car.
- The chemist works in the red-door office
- The lawyer keeps a Rottweiler
- The writer likes Swiss food
- The green-door office is on the left of the white-door office
- The person who has a Mercedes keeps a Great Dane
- The worker of the yellow-door office has a BMW
- The green-door officeās worker likes Greek food
- The man working in the center office likes Italian food
- The engineer works in the first (leftmost) office
- The man who has a Renault works next to the one who keeps a Beagle
- The man who keeps a Bulldog works next to the man who has a BMW
- The owner who has a Volkswagen likes Spanish food
- The historian has a Tesla
- The engineer works next to the blue-door office
- The man who has a Renault has a neighbor who likes French food
Now tell me, who keeps the German Shepherd? Answer the question and detail the solution for each worker as: āThe [Worker] works on the [Color]-door office, likes [Food] food, has a [Car] and keeps a [Dog]ā
š” Solution
- The engineer works on the yellow-door office, likes French food, has a BMW and keeps a Beagle.
- The writer works on the blue-door office, likes Swiss food, has a Renault and keeps a Bulldog.
- The chemist works on the red-door office, likes Italian food, has a Mercedes and keeps a Great Dane.

Puzzle 3
Order the 8 hospital medications according to their daily dosages (in grams), from highest to lowest.
Medications: Paracetamol (Analgesic), Ibuprofen (NSAID), Metformin (Antidiabetic), Amoxicillin (Beta-lactam antibiotic), Ceftriaxone (Beta-lactam antibiotic), Vancomycin (Glycopeptide antibiotic), Levofloxacin (Fluoroquinolone antibiotic), Atorvastatin (Statin)
Available daily doses (all in g/day): 4.5āā4.0āā3.5āā3.0āā2.5āā2.0āā1.5āā1.0
Your task is to assign exactly one of these eight values to each medication, then order them from highest to lowest. The hints below, if applied correctly, will lead you to a unique possible assignment:
- At least three antibiotic dosis end in 0.
- Paracetamol has triple dosis than Levofloxacin, and both differ 1,5 from Vancomycin.
- Ibuprofen and Metformin dosis are only divisible by Atorvastatin.
- Ibuprofen has a lower dosis than Vancomycin but a higher dosis than Ceftriaxone.
š” Solution
Paracetamol (4.5) > Amoxicillin (4.0) > Metformin (3.5) > Vancomycin (3.0) > Ibuprofen (2.5) > Ceftriaxone (2.0) > Levofloxacin (1.5) > Atorvastatin (1.0)

The puzzle
You go into the locker room, and find the one labeled “Marcus Barlow”. However, there is a 5 digit lock on it. In order to open it, you’ll need to find the correct code with the following hints:
- The first digit is twice the third.
- The last digit is the sum of the second and fourth.
- The second digit is one more than the fourth.
- The third digit is half of the second, and different from the fourth.
You have one attempt to guess the correct combination. (More attempts will use up more actions)

š” Solution
Hi, Marc. I know you are at swimming practice right now, and this is probably the worst time for this… Maybe I shouldn’t tell you? I’m pacing around, a lot actually. I’ve been so confused the last few hours. Even the whole day. I think you deserve to know the truth though, he was your father after all. He never behaved like one, and treated you like garbage. But for some weird reason you still looked up to him, and wanted to earn his approval. I will never understand why.
Last night my dad came home and he was not himself. It was wild, you should’ve been there… He said we were in danger, well, that I was in danger, to be specific. I really don’t know how to say this but, he mentioned your dad was the cause. I know you likely won’t believe me. But I am begging you, please, please, keep reading this. Your father wanted mine to do some kind of… illegal stuff. And he refused, so Edwin threatened to harm me. He also wants us to runaway, to another city, or country. But I can’t. You know I can’t.
I love you, Marcus. I don’t want us to be separated. And I had to protect my dad, and myself! I did what had to be done. Maybe you will hear the news before me, or maybe I will die. I can’t know if my plan worked or not, I have been afraid to go back to my house. So I am hiding away, at our secret place, remember? I won’t leave until I am sure we are safe. I don’t want to die. I’m scared…
I hope you can forgive me, if what I did went through and didn’t fail. I just want us to be happy, together. Forever. Please, find it in you to forgive me. Otherwise, none of this would have been worth it, it would have been for nothing. Pointless, if you’re not with me.
With love, and always yours,
Kels

Park
The park has a single logic puzzle
You have ten different science books: Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Computer Science, Geology, Medicine, Astronomy and Psychology. Each book was published on a different year: 1977, 1981, 1986, 1990, 1994, 2000, 2004, 2013, 2018 and 2020.
Match each book to its year using the following clues:
- Only one of the two vowelāstarting titles was published in an oddānumbered year.
- The book published in 1990 deals with a geoscience.
- Exactly two of the books whose publication years are divisible by 3 come before the Biology book in the timeline.
- If you count letters (ignoring any spaces) in the titles of the oldest and newest books and add them together, the total is 17.
- Geology was published immediately after a book whose title has exactly seven letters.
- Neither Astronomy nor ComputerScience was published in a leap year.
- The difference between the publication years of Physics and Biology equals the number of letters in the word āEQUATION.ā
- ComputerScience and Psychology were published with at least one other book between them on the timeline.
- Astronomy was published after Mathematics but before Chemistry.
- Mathematics was published in 2004.
- Psychology was published after Engineering.
- Only one book with an even number of letters was published in a leap year.
š” Solution
Medicine (1977) - Engineering (1981) - Physics (1986) - Geology (1990) - Biology (1994) - Psychology (2000) - Mathematics (2004) - Computer Science (2013) - Astronomy (2018) - Chemistry (2020)

Company
The company has 4 puzzles. Since a lot of you had problems with Edwin’s and Michael’s puzzle we’ll also include a how to.
Edwin’s Office
You go into Edwin’s office and start looking around. It looks like a regular CEO’s office: a lot of papers and files laying around, but not in a disorganized way. Everything is neat and labeled. There is a desk in the middle of the room, with a computer on it. You get close to it and find that one of the drawers is locked. That’s intriguing. If you wanna be able to open it, you’ll have to figure out the following five-digit barcode number:
/-//–////—–/ Hint: The sum of the second and fourth number is the last.
š” Solution
This puzzle utilizes the binary system. /-//--////-----/ is equal to the binary number 1011001111000001.
The password is 46017.

You think you might as well check that. Oh no! It needs a seven-digit password, you’re gonna have to figure it out with the following hints:
- The third, fifth and sixth digits are equal.
- The sum of the fourth and the fifth digits is the last.
- The difference between the second and the last digits is repeated.
- The difference between the fourth and the repeated digit one is the first.
- The fourth digit is three times the first.

There’s a folder sitting right in the middle of her low table, maybe she was reading that while sitting on the small couch earlier? In order to find out the contents of the folder, you’ll need to solve the four-digit combination first, using the following hints:
- The first digit is twice the second.
- The third digit is one more than the last.
- The sum of all digits is 22.

Michael’s Office
This puzzle got only solved by three people woah! Since everyone was having problems with this puzzle we introduced a hint. After guessing wrong 3 times the player got a new option to search the trash. Searching the trash gave the clue that mod12 should be base12.

You go into Michael’s office and are a bit shocked. This one is a little bit disorganized. Some paper laying around out of place. Two used glasses in the table, the bottle was left open. You start looking around for anything that might be of use to you. In order to do that, you will need to solve this riddle first:
Figure out the time in the 24h digital clock (hh:mm) using these hints:
- The first digit is the double of the last one.
- 14:23 - mod12
š” Solution
1423 is a number in base 12 therefore the password is 2331
$$ 1*12^{3}+4*12^{2}+2*12^{1}+3*12^{0}=2331 $$
